THE PROJECT
At the Roosevelt Campobello International Park, where Conkling was appointed by President Obama to serve as an Alternate Commissioner in 2010, Conkling helped facilitate a strategic planning process. One of the key goals of the plan is to attract additional visitors by making 2,000 undeveloped acres of the park more accessible.
OUR ROLE
Conkling was tapped to lead the natural areas planning committee, reaching out to Provincial Park authorities, Fundy National Park personnel as well as Acadia National Park for additional expertise.

Roosevelt Campobello International Park, chartered by the governments of the United States and Canada, is a gem that straddles the border between the two countries, which a major economic asset to the region.
